Thanks for the email.
You don't say how old your granddaughter is, so that makes it hard to give an answer.
However, the first thing is to make sure that she isn't afraid of what she can 'see'. Obviously, you are showing your support of her by your intention.
I believe there is a set of books by Ted Andrew (I think), which is aimed at younger people.
I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it, but I'm pretty sure Ted Andrews is responsible for it.
As for further training, I think that would be up to your granddaughter as to whether that is something she wants to do.
