Strange Light

During the fall of 1965, my girlfriend and I were parked on a dirt road miles in the country. It was a dark clear night, the car radio played softly as two teens in love kissed and held each other.

My girlfriend leaned against the passenger side door facing me when all of a sudden I noticed what looked to be a ribbon of light some 3/4 inch high and 6 to 7 inches long appear through the window. This ribbon of light made it's way slowly across my girlfriend's shoulder, up her neck and side of her face coming to a rest across both eyes and her nose. Its movement resembled the slithering of a snake through the glass, following the contour of everything contacted.

Having come to a rest, illuminating her eyes and the bridge of her nose, I asked, "Do you see that?" She said, "What?"

Needless to say I cranked the car and immediately vacated the premises. She never saw anything and couldn't understand why I took her home so early.
