Something weird in our space

My 9 year old daughter has had the ability to see spirits, and weird "creatures" hiding in clutter and dark areas of our house. Actually, I saw a dark shadow in my hallway last night.

Anyway she admitted to me that she has had this ability since she can remember and that the reason she has never gotten up out of her bed at night to get me was because she was too scared. (Breaks my heart).

Now it's out in the open and I am trying to coach her through confronting these spirits and sending them off.

This issue partly is that I'm getting freaked out. What does all this mean? Why are so many children coming in with these abilities? Are the end/new times at hand and these kids are here to assist with the unknowns? Not sure only know that I want my child to live a "normal" healthy life.
