Your child is tremendously gifted. She is lucky to have you as a parent. My mother was also gifted, and grew up in a stifling and judgmental atmosphere. That can wreck a child.

The best thing you can do is listen to her. It is wonderful you don't judge or accuse her of making things up. I would not reward her for telling you things like this, as that could backfire. The best thing is quiet detachment. Don't reinforce it either negatively or positively. That will help her to just be herself. Accept. Comment. Love her unconditionally. Guide her.

As she gets older, she will mix in society, and once outside the home, she will meet people who are not as open as you are. If you could prepare her in a nonjudgmental way to learn to discuss things like this at home and not in public, that would be good.

You don't want to make her feel scared of punishment or rejection; nor do you want her to judge others as mean. Just let her know that everyone feels differently, and it would be best to discuss these things only at home or with people who understand them. Now is a good time to start teaching her that everyone sees things in a unique way. Her way is different from others. But all ways are valid.

She is very young for a training program, but that's what she needs most. I suggest you look at Ted Andrews' 10 volume School of Magic series for teens. It is going to be above her head, but you could read and process and present the information at her level, and then when she is older, she can read them herself.

The series can be found used on Amazon cheap. Ted is a great guy, and I believe you will like his work. Just buy Volume 1 and see what you think. The purpose is to give her a framework for accepting her gifts and learning to use them wisely and well and with a high sense of ethics.

There are plenty of training systems and people out there, but many don't resonate with me. While Nature is a wonderful thing, I would avoid the study of Wicca.
