How to Protect my Child??

My daughter, who is now 12 years old, has always been what you would call different. There have been several events that come to mind but the most vivid is when she was four years old. She stayed home with me for the last two months of my pregnancy with my 2nd child. I was told to stay in bed as much as possible.

One morning I heard her talking to someone in the house. I could hear a man's voice answering her even though I couldn't understand what was being said. Thinking that my husband had come home to check on us I got up from the bed, only to discover my daughter sitting on the landing of our stairs with a chair in front of her. No one else was in the house.

When I asked her what she was doing she answered simply "talking" and ran off to her room. Things seemed to diminish as she got older and I thought that her "ability" had simply gone away.

I guess I should point out that these types of things do run in my family- both mother and fathers. I myself have what I would term as prophetic dreams; always having moments of deja vu only to realize that I had dreamed it weeks earlier.

Since we moved 2 years ago things have started up again. My daughter is constantly talking about three men that come and talk to her among others. They have told her that this house is a doorway and she is the light that attracts them. That their job is to help protect those in this house. For her to not be scared of them. She is even seeing them at places other than the house- school, etc.

I myself have heard and sensed things in the house. People walking up and down the hallway and voices. The cupboard doors opening and closing in the middle of the night, etc. I have blessed the house with holy water- her room particularly. We have even started doing rosaries together as a family (we are Catholic) for the souls of the departed. Things seem to calm down for days at a time and then start up again.

I don't know what to do or how to help my child(ren). I'm not sure what to believe as far as the "3". Are they what they say? My mother instincts tell me to be on guard.
