Hi: It certainly sounds like your daughter is on to something there. I have often wondered if kids 'imaginary' friends, who disappear after a while are really spirits. I had a childhood friend whom I called Bergy Beegy, but I don't remember him except that my relatives kept teasing me later about me saying he was protecting my candy and toys.
I too have had prophetic dreams. I can distinguish them by their emotional impact and strangeness. However they are largely symbolic so interpreting their meaning and timing of event is nearly impossible.
I had a very strong symbolic dream 2 weeks before the World Trade Centers went down but I could not have imagined how that was going to play out and where.
Also the deja vu that comes from dream memories - wow! Me too!
Thanks for sharing that, I thought I was a bit nuts interpreting it that way but I was sure since it happened enough times that is what it was. How else do you explain dreaming about people you haven't met yet and then meeting them later and wondering where you have met, knowing you could not have met them before. Putting the two of them together was a revelation etc.

Marie, thank you for taking the time to write this detailed email. I think that, as a mother, you are absolutely correct in following your instincts in this. I hope that what you have written acts to help other mothers recognize similar problems.

Children can and do 'see' more than most adults. They also can interact with these invisible 'things', often taking it to be perfectly normal.

However, from what you report, this is going one step further than that and becoming a problem in one way or another for the whole family.

I am certainly with you in that the situation needs checking. For example, if these 3 are, indeed, to protect those in the house, the question is, to protect from what??

We have dealt with children seeing and talking with things adults can't see before in our work. Your family seems to have a certain level of 'abilities' which makes the phenomena even more intrusive for you.

Taking all this into consideration, I would urge you to at least get us to assess your home (for free).
