Furniture Placement:
The Key To Health?
Furniture placement was, until around the mid-90’s, about the only
remedy offered if signs of geopathic stress were found in a home. If
lines of negative energy (sometimes called black lines) were dowsed
as crossing under a bed or a favorite chair, the solution was to move
the furniture out of the way of them.(Read
more about the way in which serious illness has been linked with
earth energies.)
However, new methods have made that approach to be less necessary than
before.
What IS furniture placement all about?
Some of the furniture in your home has an important role to play. The
placement of the following should be noted...
- your bed,
- your favorite chair,
- your desk or work or hobby area
- the kitchen (not furniture, but an important area nevertheless)
These are all areas where you spend proportionately long periods of
time in.
Furniture placement in these areas is very important, particularly
if, underneath, there is a source of negative energy.
For example, where several lines run together or across each other
there is a high likelihood of the person above them developing some
form of cancer. (According to European research into areas where cancer is prevalent, it seems to point to cancer being
a disease of location only.)
Therefore, the early researchers and geomancers said that the furniture
needed moving in order to avoid illness. This was, and still is, an
alternative cancer treatment.
But furniture placement does not necessarily have to be concerned only
with cancer cures.
Earth energies have differing effects upon people. The only common
factor is that the immune system appears to be placed under stress.
Therefore physical symptoms of stress will show themselves in various
ways, according to what is the weakest aspect of the person in that
particular environment.
An example
When living in the UK, Maggie found that her feet and lower legs were
always aching. Nothing seemed to help. We walked a lot then as well, so
this was something she really wanted dealt with.
After a while, having found nothing obviously physically wrong, we
dowsed the bed and the living room. The bed was OK, but, running along
the front of the sofa where Maggie sat a lot, was a line of negative
energy.
We cleared the line and, immediately, the pain ceased and Maggie was
never troubled with it again.
One
of the more obvious indicators of problems in the environment associated
with furniture placement is sleep
disorders in children. Quite often insomnia in children or general
restlessness, crying and so on is due to the fact that they are sleeping
(or trying to) above a place where the energies of the earth are severely
disruptive to them and their systems.
Young children in beds directly above such areas will usually move
around a lot and often end up sleeping in what appears to be a very
cramped and confined space. On examination using dowsing, this area
is often the only place in the bed where they are out of the zone of
influence.
What is to be done?
As I said, it used to be that the only solution was to move the furniture.
Placement of beds was often the only solution offered. They were moved
to another area, if possible. Living rooms were re-arranged and so on.
The only danger from this was that, if there was no method of detection
being used, the new furniture placement might be on a spot of similar
or worse intensity. Therefore, professional dowsers, like us, are usually
called in to check on locations to see if the new area is free of negative
energies.
That solution was then replaced a little by such measures as putting
lead sheets under the furniture, or sheets of blue paper and similar
approaches, all intending to block the upward flow of energy. Usually,
such measures proved to be of limited duration.
From hammers to intention
However, in recent years, the idea of altering or moving the energies
has gained ground.
This came about because of water dowsers. At first, when a well ran
dry, the solution was to dig a new one. Then it was found that, if there
were sufficient water veins nearby and of sufficient depth, they could
be moved to flow into the well. Originally, this was done by bashing
rebar into the ground above the vein and then banging on it with a hammer
in the direction you wanted the vein to move. The fact that this worked
was obvious, because after a few days, the water in the well increased.
From this is it was a short step to asking the veins to move.
Again, the results were clear. It wasn’t something you could pretend...the
water flow increased.
Again, after that idea was seen to work, the thought began to spread
that, if you could do it with water veins in a well, why not do it with
anything else that was not wanted? After all, most of the problems came
from underground water streams.
So the principle was easy enough. Ask them to move! In fact, ask anything
else you didn’t want to be there to move as well!
And, what do you know? It works! It works on wells and it works on
other energies as well.
Can you do it?
In principal, anyone can do this. However, it appears that those who have
been working in this area for a long time, especially those, like us,
who use dowsing, appear to have some advantage. This is due to the way
the practice of dowsing acts to sharpen and focus the mind, thus helping
with intent.
(Plus, of course, it really helps if you actually believe that this
works when you do it!) Without this experience or whatever else it is,
you’ll find that the problem areas creep back again over a short period
of time.
That’s why it’s really worth having professionals do it for you!
Above all, though, be aware of the furniture placement in your home
today!
