Old house problems NEW

From what you say, it's not absolutely clear what is going on. For example, what types of physical things happen and what have you seen?

Nevertheless, this range of symptoms tends to point to an environment which needs clearing. After all, with a house as old as yours, there have been many people living (and probably dieing) there and all sorts of old human stuff which would have accumulated over time.

For that reason alone, I'd suggest getting it cleared.

As for the strange case of the nails in the wall, is that the only place such things happen, or is it something you've noticed elsewhere? Could it be to do with the composition of the wall itself, contracting and expanding perhaps?

If all those give no clue, then it more than likely is to do with some energetic interference, almost like a poltergeist effect.

I'm not saying that it is a poltergeist at all. In fact, I don't think there is one, based on the information you gave.

What I do think is that there is a certain amount of 'unquiet' or restless energy which is seeking attention in one form or another.

Therefore, I'd strongly suggest that you at least get an assessment of the place to give you a better idea of what's there.

We'll gladly do that for you, or if there's someone else you know, use them.

But, basically, if you do nothing abut it, it's going to continue to annoy, irritate or interfere with you (best case) or get worse and worse until you are forced to do something (worst case).

It is unlikely that it will go away on its own simply because you are actively engaged in altering the physical aspect of the building and so altering and disturbing the energetic status quo.
