The Electromagnetic Field And You

Everyday you wade through a sea of electromagnetic fields. They are all around us; a constant in our lives. Although there is always some naturally occurring electromagnetic radiation (emr), the number of sources has grown from virtually none 100 years ago to an untold figure today.

It’s no surprise that you feel the effects of them!

What are the sources?

There are a large number of sources of emr.

• household electrical equipment,
• cars,
• computers,
• fluorescent lighting,
• T.V.s,
• radios,
• computer screens (especially the older types),
• microwave transmitters or ovens,
• high voltage transformers,
• transmission cables
• pylons.

In addition, there are electromagnetic resonances coming into your house or office via the electricity, telephone, water and gas mains, while an electrical ring-main effectively insulates a house within its own electromagnetic field.

So, you see, it’s pretty difficult to escape this electropollution. The levels of electromagnetic radiation (emr) continue to grow. It is, quite literally, all around you!

What are the effects?

These fields are known to cause changes in

• enzymes,
• hormones,
• blood sugar levels,

Other effects noted are


• heating of the skin and its nerve endings,
• the coagulation of protein cells (with more protracted exposure)

These effects are amplified where a person is wearing metal objects, in the form of rings, zips, spectacles, hearing aids, buckles, watches, jewelery, or metal teeth fillings. These metals produce secondary resonances within your subtle energy field whenever you are in contact with anything electrical (AC or DC), or with emr.

In addition to the dangers of direct exposure, electrical and electromagnetic pollution can be transported by the underground water lines.

The fact that such radiations are known to weaken the system in some ways and to cause measurable effects was probably behind the microwave irradiation of the American Embassy in Moscow in the early 1980s.

This episode, over several months, had many of the staff complaining of various symptoms and illnesses despite no known cause and intensive internal investigations. However, when external microwave emanations beamed at the building suddenly reduced, so did the symptoms.
