There’s More Than One Way!

Divining can be remarkably useful in helping you find out what is going on in your environment.

What is it?

Divining is a way of finding out things which are hidden. It is usually listed as a psychic power, but we regard "psychic" powers as natural abilities. Visit our website on real psychic powers here.

To many people that will mean foretelling the future. But the future is not the only thing which is hidden. The world around us contains many things which we can’t see. And that is where divination comes into its own.

What are the different types?

Because divination is a very old practice (after all, we all want to know what’s going to happen, don’t we?) there have developed a very large number of divination methods. Some of these are peculiar, like watching birds fly; unpleasant, like using the entrails of slaughtered beasts; or plain strange, like casting beans or looking at spots on the skin.

There are also some types which you probably have heard of or even used yourself. For example, there’s palmistry, numerology, using a crystal ball, tea leaves or runes.

Each of these types (and there are hundreds!) are ways in which you are able to answer questions about the future or something hidden from you. When Maggie and I work with a client on their property, we rely very heavily on a type of divination.

In a sense, it doesn’t really matter which divining method you use, as long as you feel you can get satisfactory results from it.

Despite there being such a wide variety, they all have one thing in common. They all encourage you to access your intuition.

Your intuition is a powerful faculty. Using intuition is something we can all do.

However, sometimes we need ways to ‘hear’ it better or listen to it more clearly. The method of divination you choose will help you in that goal.

The one thing you should not think is that divining is too difficult for you to do. That certainly is not true! Everyone is capable of this. For some it is just a matter of practice, whilst others can pick it up more quickly.

No matter if you think your ability is off the bottom of the scale, you can learn a method which works for you!

Explain a little more, please!

As we are talking about the environment and the way in which it can affect you, then divining can be used to help pinpoint the problems.

For example, if you have negative energies in your home then we use divination to find out where and what type. You can do the same.

Alternatively, you can find out why you or your family are suffering from negative emotions. Or, you could find out more about the spiritual energies of a place.

Whatever you use it for, you will become more proficient at gaining access to your intuition. And that is really important!

What’s the best method?

Certainly one of the simplest methods is dowsing. You can use a pendulum or a rod or rods. It doesn’t have to be expensive.

Dowsing is an easy method to learn and, once you have mastered the basics, you can begin to explore the unseen aspects of the world much more easily.

The old term for dowsing is rhabdomancy. This really only means using rods. But dowsing rods have probably been overtaken in popularity by pendulums.

Despite its simplicity, dowsing can provide a great deal of information. In fact, without dowsing, we would be at a loss when doing house clearings. It is a central part of modern western geomancy.
