Conscious Living Is The Way To Go

Sounds so simple, doesn’t it? Conscious living!

Yes! I can do that. I’m sure I can. Except.....what exactly is it?

Before I answer that, let me just say that living consciously is, quite simply, the single most important and the best thing you can do for your environment.

Being Conscious

And by that title, I don’t mean just not being unconscious as in asleep, or knocked out!

Conscious living is where you are aware of what is happening to you and, usually, aware of why it is happening.

It also means that you bring into your life what it is that you want. You can read more about help for this at the foot of this article.

Great ways of living unconsciously include

  • Being a TV couch potato
  • Avidly reading the newspapers and / or watching the news
  • Eating fast food too often (you know what I mean by that!!)
  • Taking an interest in other peoples’ affairs (OK, call it gossip!)
  • Relaxing by drinking
  • Thinking along the lines of ‘Oh my life is just this way and I can’t change it even though I don’t like it’
  • Blaming, complaining and justifying
Those are the main things to worry about. Any one of them is evidence that you are living unconsciously.

Conscious living means that

  • You think you can take charge of your own life (even if you don’t know how)
  • You realize that things don’t just happen by pure chance to you
  • You are aware of what you want and you have plans as to how to get there and you are willing to work for it
  • You don’t have put up with things you don’t like (instead of moaning about them)

What has this got to do with House Clearing?

Actually, it’s got an awful lot to do with it. House clearing, remember, is all about living in an harmonious environment.

If you are able to look at yourself more objectively and you are willing to make efforts to change, then the results will begin to happen around you, in your environment.

It won't just be you who changes and becomes more balanced. It will reflect in your environment as well.

For example, do you know anyone who is mostly happy, well-balanced and just good to be around? If so, have you been to their home?

I bet it felt good to be there, didn’t it? It wasn’t a gloomy place which made you feel uneasy.

Their home is a reflection of themselves, just as yours is a reflection of you.

And don’t just have a reflex and say, ‘Oh, I’m happy with my place”. If you do that, I guarantee you that you’re NOT living consciously!

Conscious living would mean that you automatically check it for yourself and not just assume it’s OK.

Do you begin to get a clearer idea what it is all about now? Do you also begin to understand how having this sort of positive attitude (for want of a better term) can really affect your environment?

After all, if you are always happy and content (and aware that you’re not just masking something more negative underneath), then how can your environment be anything but happy and welcoming?

I’ve spoken elsewhere about how we are all powerful beings and that we can alter things with our thoughts. But how many put that into practice in our own home?

It always sounds more exciting to do something long distance or on someone else’s property, but it’s far more important that we all do it on our own property.

It's even more important that we do it with ourselves! Unless we are balanced and aware of what is happening around us and within us then there is little chance that we will live in a calm, harmonious environment either.

There’s a real reason why being happy is thought of as being healthy!!


In case you feel that it sounds OK but it's not going to be easy, then I'd like to suggest a way to help you become more conscious about what exactly you DO want.

This is a piece of software I have personally used, so I can vouch for it as being effective. I used it to increase our business to great effect. (You're reading this, right?)

It is a very clever but simple concept. It's based on the idea that by having what you consciously want in front of you more than just a couple of times a day, you get to the point where you can more easily manifest the things you want.

It works for just about anything you can think of. So, if the idea of conscious living, being conscious of what you want, is a bit bewildering at first, this is an ideal place to start.
