Children seeing things
by: Nigel

Thanks so much for writing this, and for taking your child seriously.
I see no problem with young children being able to access some things which we, as adults, find really hard to do. They haven't been taught yet that such things are 'impossible', so they try to tell us what they see or do.
Of course, they don't have the language skills to be as descriptive as we would like, but they are undoubtedly tapping into things.
Knowing about dead people is not a problem. She might have picked it up in some way from being near your great grandmother. Perhaps she was even thinking of or 'seeing' the little girl in her mind and that was enough to spark the connection.
As for speaking about being dead, isn't that just an interesting way of saying what she was before she was alive here with you?
My suggestion is just to be supportive of her. Draw her out, if she is willing to speak, otherwise just reassure her. She sounds special!
